Via telephone and SMS we will guide you through the 7 days of your program. Because we will be in close contact, there is no need for you to fill out log forms each night; we will log your child’s routine.

This package consists of 5 steps

Step 1 – Preliminary telephone consultation – 15minutes

Babysleepstar will contact you to discuss the main concerns/issues you have with your child’s sleep, and how you would like these to be resolved. The night before your program begins I will have an in-depth telephone consultation with you to get you prepared for day 1 of sleep training.

Step 2 – Child’s routine log

Babysleepstar requires a 48-hour log of your child’s routine prior to the commencement of the program. Once we have received this we can then set up a plan for your child.

Step 3 – The program begins

Hour-by-hour instructions will be provided by Babysleepstar for the first 3 days. You will receive these instructions via SMS or phone. Please note that SMS will be most frequent during the first 3 days.

You will also receive 1-2 phone calls per day for the first 3 days for a duration of 2-15minutes and one call per day after that or just sms instruction , these calls are normally before a settle and during the settle so Babysleepstar can listen to the settle .

On the morning of day 1, you will SMS Babysleepstar when your child is awake. Via SMS Babysleepstar will give you detailed instructions of what to do next.

Babysleepstar will be on the phone to you when you put your child to sleep, especially for the first sleep of the program . We will guide you through what to do if your child cries, and what method would be best suited in your given situation.

Step 4 – The program

Please have realistic expectations. The routine Babysleepstar designs for your child is intended to point you in the right direction. Babysleepstar cannot guarantee your child will sleep through the night immediately after a 7-day program.

For newborns to 7 month olds – All 7 days focus on daytime settling and routines. With consistent and solid daytime sleeps, good night sleeping will follow. Consistent sleeping through the night will usually happen around 7 months, although many children sleep through the night before then.

For 7 month to 2½ year olds –

Days 1 – 3 focus on daytime settling/routines.

Days 4 – 7 address night-time settling

NB: Most children over 7 months will sleep through the night after a 7-day phone program but I cannot guarantee it will work that quickly for your child. It is important to be consistent with the routine and methods Babysleepstar tailors to your child. The more consistent you are, the quicker your child will sleep through the night.

Step 5 – Getting the best results

For best results, use your new settling techniques/routines consistently for at least 3-4 weeks after completion of the program.

** Please note with all programs (beside the 8 week no cry program) you’ll find your child is going to cry due to change of habit/current routine , if this is something you are not comfortable with please talk to Babysleepstar first before purchasing this program ** Once your program has started no refund is given for any reason, should you cancel your spot 7 days prior to starting your program you will receive 50% refund , should you cancel your spot within 7 days of start date you will receive no refund . If your child becomes ill during the program and you cannot continue the program you would need to finish the program within 8 weeks of your initial start date.
