Q: Can programs start any day of the week?

A: Yes. Email programs can start straight away as there are no waiting lists. For the 5-, 7- and 12-day phone programs the start date is subject to availability. I only take 2-4 families at a time for phone programs so there is a waiting list. However, this is usually less than 20 days. If a child pulls out due to illness, an earlier spot may become available. Please confirm what dates we have available before purchasing a package online.

Q: Can I change the date of my program?

A: Yes. Before starting your program we can change the start date if needed .

Q: Do you give a discount for multiple children from one family?

A: Yes. I give discounts if you purchase packages for two or more children in your family.

Q: Do I need to keep my diary free when I undertake a program.

A: Yes and no. In the first 4 days it is good to have your diary free of all engagements. However, from day 5 onwards it is good to have a few things on so I can guide you on how to use your new methods/techniques in your every-day life.

Q: Do you focus only on night-sleep?

A: No, sleep training is overall sleep; day and night. For babies under 7 months we focus on day sleeps.

Q: How long will it take for my baby to sleep through the night?

A: With some children it can be as little as 7 days, others it will take a bit longer. Babysleepstar cannot make your child sleep through the night. This will happen over time if you are consistent with the methods and routine we establish for you. Please have realistic expectations when starting a program, especially if your child is under 7 months.

Q: Does Babysleepstar use cry-it-out (CIO) loud methods?

A: No, we do not use classic CIO methods. We tailor our packages to you and your child, and will only work within your comfort zone. Keeping in mind your child may cry through resistance in changing what you currently do.

Q: Do you focus only on sleep?

A: No, Babysleepstar will review your child’s whole routine before a program begins. For the 5,7 and 12-day programs the focus will be on all things feeding, activity , settling and sleeping, including how you can continue your new routine out of the house.

Q: Before, during or after the program, can I speak with a psychologist?

Q: Do I need to know anything else?

A: You must have access to a mobile phone and/or the internet, depending on which package you choose. Please let babysleepstar know if you prefer not to use mobiles or in an area where mobile reception does not work

Q: Can I get a refund once I start the program?

A: No refund give once your program has started , should you decide to cancel before your program begins you will receive 50% refund . If you child becomes ill during program Babysleepstar will issue you with the remaining days are credits to use within 8 weeks.
